Upon installation of Catalina - iCloud password seized to work

Upon installation of Catalina - my APP STORE / iCloud password seized to work ( no issues with web access - still works with my Mojave / iPhone /iPad ) my iMac cannot logon to Apple ID / also Keychain cannot be activated as an option in iCloud.. Apple ID System Preferences - any suggestions?

Updated Catalina on iMac After much debate, I was finally talked into updating to Catalina. After a normal installation, log in screen does not accept my password. (Password worked fine until Catalina!) After repeated tries, a hint pops up saying the account (?) uses an iCloud password! After entering every password I can recall, I received the same “hint.” Restarting brings same results. Attempts to change Apple ID password was not helpful. Any ideas? Please advise, as I am extremely frustrated & NOT IMPRESSED with my Catalina introduction.....

Spinning wheel of death on Mac trying to login to iCloud Hi. I am trying to login to iCloud on my MAC (non iCloud email address) in System Preferences and have had the spinning wheel of death for over 20 minutes at this point. Password is the last iteration in my passbook, so it should be correct.

Can't log in after updating to Catalina I logged into my mac mini using my icloud password. I then updated to Catalina. Now my mini will not accept my icloud password but gives me a hint telling me the password is my icloud password

Creating new iCloud e-mail alias resolved the issue 🧐
