Updated to IOS 13 and find my friends is gone. Learned that I should have an App called Find My. And I have gone thru online help instructions. I can see the option in my settings, but I cannot get the App to be on my Iphone

If its in your settings its on the iPhone also download it from the App Store
It will be wherever you previously had the Find my iPhone app.
