iPhone screen replacement and truetone with aftermarket Screen

when a third party repair shop changes an iPhone 7-XS max Screen with an aftermarket, why does truetone disappear

Now, I heard some third-party repair shops can transfer true tone from an original apple screen to an aftermarket screen and restore functionality

Because the aftermarket fixit shop doesn't have access to original Apple replacement parts. Only original screens, replaced by Apple will have all the features you got on your iPhone when it was new. It is not true what you heard that an 3rd party can restore True Tone. It requires an authentic Apple Screen.
