Noise app not working

Noise app has not captured noise levels for over a week. Why is it not capturing the sounds?

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help with the Noise app on your Apple Watch. It sounds like you haven't captured a reading in over a week.


Check out this article: Use the Noise app on your Apple Watch. Is it possible Notifications are off as discussed under "How to turn off Noise notifications". If they aren't, you could even toggle them off and then back to your chosen decibel setting and test again.


If that doesn't resolve the issue, try restarting the Apple Watch: How to restart your Apple Watch.


If you still are encountering the issue, unpair the Apple Watch and iPhone: Unpair and erase your Apple Watch. Then set them up again: Set up your Apple Watch.
