Is this in USA dollars? - you really should say, it might be Indian Rand for all we know. $2.99 is the monthly price for 200GB of iCloud storage, so that could be the first place to look. If you have more than 5GB storage in iCloud you are payhing monthly for it. If you don't want to pay this you can easily downgrade to the free 5GB level, though of course if you have any data exceeding 5GB in iCloud the excess will be deleted.
