Hello,
since I have installed macOS Catalina, every startup is extremely slow since it keeps verifying apps it has already verified (such as xcode).
Any idea on why this may be happening?

"To turn of SIP, first you have to start your mac in recovery mode.
Then open the terminal and type
csrutil status
And if it confirms you that SIP is currently enabled on your system enter the command
csrutil disable
Restart and check if the problem persists.
Please do not forget to reenable SIP after apple has solved this issue in the next operation system update (hopefully) :)"
Hey man, when you say you are reverting to Mojave, does that mean you are going to use time machine?

Unbelievable how little support Apple is providing on the issue.
I tried that solution and it worked. However I am not really going to say it solved my question because I don't think disabling System Integrity Protection is a good way of solving issues :-P
I will try that one too thanks. Meanwhile let's hope that 10.15.2 will solve this!
How does one revert to Mojave?
The MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 update from yesterday solved the issue.
I'm also seeing this on 10.15.2; only related to Xcode.app.
I still see this problem with 10.15.2 - happens on several different apps, at least once a day.
