My Epson GT-S50 scanner doesn't work with OS Catalina. any suggestions? The driver downloads and message says successfully installed. Tried multiple times. Then there is no app visible in the Applications Folder. Yet under - About This MAC/Systems Report/Applications - the software is shown to be installed. It is also shown to be 32 bit and 64 bit compatible. Epson doesn't respond. So no ability to scan.

Thank you for suggesting Vuescan. I downloaded it, tested it, and purchased it. It works very well and is far better then the original Epson software was. They also offer lifetime support for the premium version, which I needed because my feeder is not a flat bed type. To the other person who had the same problem, this will resolve it.
You can also try scanning from Preview. If that fails give Vuescan a try: They have a demo version available.
