I just can't figure it out - I just bought a Microsoft 365 subscription with 1 Tb of storage. I don't mind keeping a lot of stuff in the cloud - but I want my most important files to also be resident on my MacBookPro as well as in the cloud. Anybody have any advice? Also, I use an external drive to back up my MacBookPro. Since there is a OneDrive folder on my MacBook, when I back up to the external drive does it back up the OneDrive folder? I'm just kinda confused.
By default Time Machine backs up all locally mounted devices but does not back networked devices.

experienced windows user migrating to Mac. if you have one drive to auto save all your files, they are still available on desktop. Hope that helped. If not please feel free to ask any questions and Ill do my best to answer :-)
