Mac OS Catalina and SideCar - "A miscellaneous error occurred (32002)"

I just upgraded to Mac OS Catalina on 13" MBP 2016. I'm trying to use SideCar on an iPad Pro (with iPad OS), but everytime I select it as the SideCar display in the Control Centre, it works for about 3 seconds and then I get an error "Unable to connect to iPad, A miscellaneous error occurred (32002)".

How's is other ppl's experiences using SideCar? It's seems completely unworkable for at the moment.

On another sidenote, everytime I boot up my MBP with my external monitor connected (LG 34" 5K display), the mouse pointer and where it actually clicks are in different positions on the screen i.e. there's a misalignment of the cursor pointer and where it actually is. I need to disconnect my eGPU, unplug the display and then reconnect to get it aligned properly again. Quite annoying.

I also had to reboot about 5 times before I could iCloud to sign back in again also (iMessage wan't working initially).

I really think Catalina should still be in beta. Definitely doesn't seem stable yet. I hope patches are released soon.

I don't play games either, but I needed it to get better performance when using an external 5K display.

I was wondering if the SideCar issue might be related to using the eGPU, but doesn't seem to be the case if you too are experience the same issue with no eGPU. I hope some updates come out for Catalina soon that will fix the issue.
