Hello. Earlier this morning, I wanted to try to add my CIBC Debit Card to apple pay on my mac, but when i scanned it, I got an error saying "This card could not be added." I tried restarting my Mac, but that also did nothing. I came here wondering if anyone else has had this issue, but found nothing. Thanks for taking the time to read!

I checked the list and my card was listed, but my Mac says this card cannot be added with Apple Pay on Mac. I will attach a photo. Sorry about the quality.

Yes, my phone works completely flawlessly but is soon as I try to add it to my Mac it does not work. Could this be an operating system error? I’m not sure.
On your phone, go to settings>wallet & Apple Pay>allow payments on Mac - is that turned on or off?
Yes, the setting is turned on. I also tried to toggle it on and off and that also didn’t work.
