Please let us know if the new OS update has fixed your wifi connectivity

The only problem I encountered on my iPad was the lost Wi-Fi signal after wake when the display brightness was set to minimum. That problem seems to be solved.

I installed the new iPad OS update on both iPad 3G units we have, and so far so good. The update process doesn't seem to have broken anything, and I SEEM to be getting better wifi.... My wifi indicators used to go to 1 bar from 3 bars pretty randomly, and now it seems to be holding it's own... VERY EARLY THOUGH... the jury is still out for a few days... But in general, it doesn't seem to have broken anything!

Two hours and no disconnects so far. Signal strength seems good.

I'm sharing my cable connection from my iMac to my iPad, the iPad will see the wifi and worked fine before until a few days ago. Even with 3.2.1, a restore, a DFU restore the ipad won't get online. It sees the SSID and the password works correctly. Even displays full signal, but Safari and all apps report being offline. After the restores it leads me to believe its a router issue, only it worked fine before. I'm going to try it at an open wifi spot soon at a cafe or something. But as of right now pre & post 3.2.1 I am having wifi issues

Try rebooting your iMac. Do you have a password for your network that is coming off the iMac?

My 64GB 3G iPad had the typical WiFi issues others were experiencing after I first brought it home (release day). However I tweaked several settings on it and my router and it's been rock solid ever since. After downloading and installing iOS v3.2.1 everything is still working fine and it actually seems a bit snappier...particularly Safari. Up/download speeds and range are still very good. I really hope this addresses the issues others were having!

Hidden SSID, unhidden, WPA2, WEP, all tested.
Comes out of sleep and connects perfectly.

I never had issues with wifi before but I have more wifi bars on my iPad 3G.

I just noticed that. Weren't there only three bars before? Mine shows a solid four now.

huh? I still have 3 wifi bars. I mean I would normally have 2 or 1 at my house, now I have 3.

Sorry, I was looking at the (vertical) AT&T bars. D'oh. There are still three WiFi (curved) bars. Glad that it appears that your signal strength has improved!

Very very angry. This has messed up my wi fi keeps saying "connecting" .connects and then again "connecting". Sorry I am really disappointed.

Seems to have corrected my frequent network disconnects. That has been my only problem with my iPad 64g wifi. This is excellent indeed.
