I just purchased a new 4K television. I have an Apple TV 4th generation hooked up to it now, but am thinking of upgrading to a Apple TV 4K. My question is if I do this will the movies I have purchased through iTunes be upgraded to a 4K version? Thanks.
If you purchased the HD version (not the SD version), and iTunes has a 4K version available,
then yes, you will get automatic access to the 4K version of your movie (and TV show) purchases from the iTunes Store.
