Screensaver + Spotify App

I haven't been able to get my Arial screensaver to auto-start while playing music through the Spotify app. I set the time to to screen saver to 2 minutes, with no auto-starting. I was able back track and "preview" the screensaver via the Settings panel, but I would like have the screensaver start without having to switch between apps. Is this possible?
