how can I extend a line on a graph

The issue is that I placed all the information I need on a table and made a scatter plot with a line connecting the points as well as a linear trend line over, however, I need to extend the line so the line crosses the x-axis so I can obtain a point. My professor wants us to do this and showed us how to do it using excel yet I do not have excel. I am struggling to find a way to obtain the information needed by tomorrow, October 15, 2019. Assistance would be very much appreciated. The image below shows the data and graph.

Since Numbers doesn't have that built into its interface you may have to get down to basics.


You have a better idea than I what is expected in class, but since you have the equation shown in your screenshot wouldn't one approach be to use that equation to have a formula calculate the x when y is 0 (where the ? is in the screenshot below) and then select the table with that value included and insert a chart?
