iPadOS / iOS 13 - Files App - search in folder & search result filters

In the new iPadOS Files App, if I am in a sub folder of my iCloud Drive, and I go to the search and start to type. When you start a new bar pops up and lists three options Recents | iCloud Drive | [folder name]. I am *presuming* that Apple has provided a way to filter results into these three places. So I think I should be able to type in a search term, and then tap on one of the three areas, and the results should differ per area (provided there are files in those areas). However, even if I have a folder with four items in it, and search for one of those items and select the “folder name” option, the results are zero files (even though I can see the file in the folder).

Example images below: you can see the three result areas, and if I type in “Disc” I *should* have two files filtered into the folder called “Bianchi AllRoad 2016-17.” In fact, though, I get “No Results” as per the 2nd image, but if I select either Recents or iCloud Drive, I get 62 Results (3rd image).

So the specific question: are these three areas supposed to filter results, and if so, any suggestions as to why in every folder I have tried on every file I’ve tried do I get “No Results” I’m the sub folder I happen to be in?
