Deleting a work email from my phone will loose those contact but I want tokeep them on my phone

I am concerned that contacts I have created using my work phone will be deleted as they are connected to the work email, leaving my job and I started to manually take the personal contacts out of Outlook on the PC and then they were lost on my phone :-( the phone is mine and not that company i work for.

Hello Swoopsbaby,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It's completely understandable to want your contacts protected. I'll do what I can to help.

If possible, make sure you also have an exported backup of your contacts in Outlook. This link from Microsoft will explain: Export contacts from Outlook

Once you do, you can try importing them into iCloud: Import a contact on iCloud.com

If you prefer, you can also sync them with iTunes: Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer

Cheers.
