Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I've been having quite a time with Mac mini 2012. It finally jusst went dark, except for a flashing question mark. I had given up and had scheduled a shop visit, but I tried starting in up and durn if the thing didn't start up -- to a spinning globe. Selected router and it opened in recovery mode -- disk utility etc. But none of them would respond to my mouse clicks and the mouse won't leave the box. Any ideas as to what I should do? Scared to shut her down.

Try a wired mouse.
If I wasn't using a > https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/desktop-mk120 everyday, I would at least keep one around for troubleshooting and for situations like you are having now.
