External speakers no sound after update on macOS Catalina

Hi. Do any have issue with external speakers after update on macOS Catalina? When i turn on the speakers, there is no sound. Every time i have to plug out the jack from iMac and plug back in, then the sound comes up. It is pretty annoying. Any solutions? Thanks

Thanks, but was another problem. I had a remain of AirParrot application and after update to Catalina, sound output was set default to AirParrot. I had to delete this driver from Library.
