I have a MacBook & and iPhone. The iTunes on my iPhone is the master or Library I want to keep. My MacBook only has the items I've downloaded from iTune and does not contain the other songs on my phone. How can I transfer data that direction so i can sync them.

You'll need to extract the library from the iPhone and import it to iTunes on your MacBook. Syncing is only one way, computer to device, not the other way around.

Thank you. While I don't like it...I understand and 'assumed' that was the answer. I feel Apple could make this much easier and still maintain the level of required security.
