iCloud drive does not appear in Finder after Catalina update. How to get it back?

First of all, make sure that you are indeed logged in to your iCloud account.

Second, what exactly have you tried so far?

Assuming you are logged in, the next thing would be to go to Finder->Preferences->Sidebar and check "iCloud Drive", which you probably did already...

Two things to confirm:

a) you are logged in to your iCloud account and have iCloud Drive checked (System Preferences->Internet Accounts)

b) iCloud Drive is checked in Finder/>Preferences->Sidebar

I have tried all the "fixes" that Apple suggests. Not one of them works! Finder does not show iCloud or iCloud Drive!

I have the exact same problem. How do I get it back?

Also, double check that you have iCloud Drive enabled in

you AppleID/iCloud settings.

The Sidebar checklist is the key. I had the same issue. iCloud Drive was not checked with the “button”. Click-checked it and voila...iCloud Drive was again a choice for sending files!
