Mail coming from Apple Inc.

I have a gmail account. Some of the emails I receive show the email is coming from Apple Inc. instead of the actual sender. I have Catalina.

And to confirm, these are legitimate messages from other senders, and not spammer spoofing Apple?

If so, this is headed for a more general rebuild of mail, and I’m not yet certain of how to do that correctly on Catalina.

Rebuilt the Mailbox. Nothing has changed. The "From" field still shows the sender is Apple Inc. instead of the actual sender's name. Here's a screenshot showing where the From field show Apple Inc.

Rebuild the mailbox, as a first starting point. In Mail, Mailbox > Rebuild.

All senders are legit. One from my wife - and she's legit 😀 The other from the Metropolitan Council.
