Serial number does not match the device type selected
When i copy pasting my serial number from the sitting it says the serial number does not match the device type selected

What are you entering your serial number in?
It might be a phishing scam. So, be careful where you where you enter your serial number.
For security and privacy reasons, if you are managing your device by use of its serial number and need assistance, most certainly contact Apple directly.
