Phone tune-up

So I have an iPhone 7 and have for 3 years. Updating the phone isnt really in the budget right now, so I'm wondering what people would suggest to sort of tune-up my phone. If I reset it to factory settings and then restore it from backup, would that remove junk that was slowing it down and help a little?

Thanks in advance

It depends on what you'd like to tune up. If storage is a problem, you may wish to go under Settings > General > iPhone Storage, and clear out all your old apps, music, and such. Also using iCloud Photos will help.

iPhone 7 has an A10 Fusion processor, and should be fairly powerful for common day-to-day usage. Anything older than a 6S, and I would recommend upgrading, but an iPhone 7 should last you a while longer.
