So with the new update I can connect different kinds of controllers. I have both an Xbox one controller and a steam controller. I haven’t tried connecting the steam one yet, but I’d like to know if there is any way to use the controllers to navigate the iPad. Like switching from one tab in safari to another or scrolling on pages to read things. Is there any way to do that or is the update pretty much only for controller enabled games but useless outside of them? Are there any apps that could allow such functionality?

thank you,

Sean

Unfortunately that’s kind of what I figured. Would be such a nice feature. Especially now that it’s getting chilly out, using my controller under the blankets to go page to page or app to app instead of having to uncover every time I want to do something with the iPad. Lol.

thanks for the answer even though it’s not what I wanted to see. Hopefully someone at Apple is hard at work making such a feature, or sees this comment and start working on it. 😄

The only way to get Apple to, DIRECTLY, listen to you is to use their feedback portion of their website.
