Cellular data not working on XR after 13.3 update

Since the 13.3 update, the cellular data on my XR is inaccessible. I can’t even click on cellular under settings. It just freezes. Nor can I click on any apps that use cellular data. No phone, messaging, FaceTime etc


I have tried

  • Total factory reset
  • network setting reset
  • toggling airplane mode
  • removing SIM card


Im at a loss. Any suggestions?? Thank you much

Excellent job with the troubleshooting steps that were performed. You mentioned being on iOS 13.3. The latest version of the iOS software is 13.1.3. I would confirm that by navigating to Settings > General > About > Version. If you're on the latest version of iOS 13.1.3, I recommend following these steps:


  1. Check to see if there's a possible carrier settings update for your iPhone. Here's how: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone
  3. Navigate to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options and make sure Low Data Mode is not enabled.
  4. Contact your wireless provider to ensure that you have an active data plan for your iPhone and that there's no outages in your area.
