The version of Catalina that I downloaded is corrupt and I need to know how to delete it and download it again?

The version of Catalina that I downloaded is corrupt and I need to know how to delete it and download it again? I am unable to delete it out of Launchpad. Any suggestions?

Quit the failed installer and look in your Applications Folder for the macOS Catalina Installer. If it it there, you should be able to move it to the Trash and then Empty the Trash.
