If I subscribe to and download games from Apple Arcade on our later model supported Apple devices will the games be available for download/play on our iOS12 iPad Air 1?
I understand Apple Arcade not available on iOS12 natively. My iPad Air does however auto install apps I download to my iPhone. Will the same occur with Apple Arcade games?

Thanks for your reply. The iPad Air is still capable of running new release games fine. It might chug with the more hardware intensive games however many come with options to dial settings back.
I'm still keen to know how the iOS12 iPad Air will behave when Apple Arcade games are installed on our supported devices. Any app I install on my iPhone 8 installs on my iPad. I'm hoping someone can confirm whether the same does or does not happen with Apple Arcade games.
The reason we're considering Apple Arcade is my young son plays games on the iPad and I'd prefer to avoid monetised free-to-play games and their ads. Therefore it's the iPad we'd be using Apple Arcade games on most.

Apple Arcade requires a iPad that runs iPadOS 13. iPad Air (1st generation) can only run iOS 12 and would be significantly underpowered to run Apple Arcade games.
