I update my software with macOS Catalina Version 10.15 and my word and excel stoped working. I need it. I paid for office package and I need to be working. What I have to do ?

Microsoft ceased all support for any version of Office:Mac older than Office 2016. There will be no updates. If you have a unupdated version of Office 2016, MS has an update that should convert it to 64-bit and therefore compatible with Catalina.
The Mac Office suite pre 2016 won’t work as it requires 32 bit calls . These have finally been discontinued with Catalina which is pure 64 bit
Even 2016 version has 32 bit calls in the packages so is having issues.
Your options are to look at alternative office suites OR fork out for an office 365 subscription sorry to say’

I had the same issue. do you have an office 365 account? You should be able to go to the office website and download the new Office suite and use the license associated with your previous purchase. I was fortunate to have an office 365 account however it should work. Give it a try
What version of MS Office for Mac are you running?
If it is a 32 bit version then you must upgrade to a new 64 bit version or else downgrade from Catalina.
