ipad pro 10.5 2017 (Swipe to Type Not Working - Bug?)

I have latest iPad Os installed - 13.1.3

There is no swipe to type options. Is this a bug or is apple being quite and not just saying so - so I don’t waste my not asking?

Hello,

iPad’s new QuickType keyboard only works on iPad when the keyboard has shrunken down to the new floating keyboard. To access the floating keyboard perform a pinch-in gesture on the keyboard.
