Apple Music not working

Hello,

my Apple Music is not working properly. When I push play, it cycles through songs but does not play. I checked that i am added in a family. All my other family members do not have this problem. I also tried to play the music on musi.sh/ to check whether it is a problem with the app or with my account. It did not even connect the apple account to it. The error message was “There is a problem with the connection”, however my family members are also on the same network... Do you please have any idea what the problem could be? Thanks a lot!

I also see you've verified your Family subscription and others in the group aren't having this issue. I can see why you'd reach out about this behavior; I'd like to help. I'd recommend starting with the steps below:



If the issue continues, try adding a new song to your library; are you able to play it?


If not, try disabling Sync Library in Settings > Music, wait a moment and enable it again, then test.


If the behavior persists, use these steps next; please keep in mind that signing out of iTunes will remove any content you've downloaded for offline listening and will need to be downloaded again:


  • Close the Music app.
  • Sign out of iTunes
    • Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out.
  • Restart your iPhone.
  • Sign back in to iTunes.
    • Tap Settings > iTunes & App Store > Sign In.
  • Tap Settings > Music and verify "Show Apple Music" and "Sync Library" are enabled.
  • Test Apple Music again.
