handoff between iPad and MBP

I have 'handoff' turned on on both devices, as well as my iPhone. Everything is as current as possible. MBP less than 1 year old... well maybe 1 year old.

I do not have an icon of my device (MBP) to continue work in Safari from my iPad. I have tried what I think is everything possible to find out why this is not working properly. Please give me some amazing advice.

Thanks very much!

Hello,

Sign out of your Apple ID on both your iPad, MacBook Pro, and iPhone.

Disable Wi-Fi & Bluetooth on all devices through Settings/System Preferences (not using Control Center).

Restart each device.

Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on all devices.

Sign in with your Apple ID on all devices.
