My logitech M705 is not working with Catalina

I have a MacBook Pro and have been using a Logitech M705 with it. I use the Logitech Unifying software to pair the mouse with the receiver and have never had a problem. I upgraded to Catalina and now the following happens:

The unifying receiver software shows the mouse is connected.

When I move the mouse I get absolutely no cursor movement.

If I remove the receiver and plug it back in, the cursor will follow the mouse movement for about 2 seconds before freezing.

I am not using Logitech Control Center software. I have updated the firmware on the receiver and am running the most recent Unifying Software.

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.15
