Excel update screwed up my license I purchased I purchased a new iMac in 2019 and purchased a license for Word and Excel. For some stupid reason I hit the download button on the App Store for Excel thinking it was an update. Now I can't do anything in Excel because it wants me to get a subscription to Microsoft. Word is still OK. How do I un-do that download of Excel and get my old one back with my license I purchased? I'm running macOS Big Sur V 11.2.2.

I recently brought a second hand macbook pro.... The owner gave all licensed paid applications too free in that with including final cut pro. I then logged in into my apple account and updated the system software to Catalina and then to Big Sur. But then soon enough it asked me to update final cut pro and when i am trying to update it asking me to buy the application.

What version of Excel did you buy?

Only 2016, 2019, and O365 will work on Catalina.

2016 needs an update from MS
