Catalina software update and Big Fish Games

I cannot play any of my purchased games after installing Catalina. Is anyone having this problem?

Sadly everyone who upgrades to Catalina will have this problem. I believe Apple announced about a year ago that they would drop support for 32 bit apps in Catalina (sadly, that includes BigFish). The BigFish site just says they are working on the problem, but my guess is that the Mac is not a priority for them and, given that they had 12 months notice and they still have nothing other than a vague "we're looking at it" statement, you will probably not see any support in the near future, if at all.

My recommendation is that you either find a new game (in which case your investment has just become worthless) or you restore Mojave on your Mac. You can do that from a TimeMachine backup, or by completely re-installing from scratch, however, this will completely wipe your disk.

Sorry for the bad news.

I am trying to get Apple to admit they haven't done anything in the App Store. I purchased a game that said it would run on my Mac but it didnt. I received a refund but now I am search for some games to play to replace the 10 games I lost switching to Catalina. But the App Store doesnt specifically say any of the games are 64 bit. I have lost my two favorite games one of which is CIV IV, and they have no intention of upgrading to to 64 bit. What can I buy and play? Anyone know? thx
