Morning All,

I have a concerns that on my 14yr old son's DoE issue iPad/deceive allows him can have unlimited access to any site, which included pornographic sites. :(

I was rather shocked to learn that on the device there is no content restrictions applied, not even "limited adult websites".

I spoke with the school this morning, and they believe there maybe an issue if applied setting that it would limit his access to the internet for research purposes. Is there anyway around this?

Is there any assistance the group could provided me with, the iPad is running 12.2 software.

There is Screen Time

Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

That said, if the device was set up by and administered by the school district then you may need to take your issues up with the school itself because the admin of the devices may or may not allow screen time to be used.

If it’s not administered by the school, then explore screen time. If you do set it up, be sure to remember the passcode you used because if you forget that there is no way around it shot of wiping the device.
