iMessage deleting random message threads

iMessage deleted random message threads and my icloud has just backed up, is there anyway to get them back?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13

If you have a backup of the iPhone that was made while the messages were on the phone, restore to that backup. The only way that would not work is if you are using Messages in the Cloud.
