i forgot the password to my iphone 7. When i tried to get back on it, it said to connect to itunes and that i was locked out. when i turned my phone off and held down the bottom button the plugged in the charger i couldnt get itunes to show up instead it just turned on my phone. what do i do?
You plug into the computer. See this for putting the device into Recovery Mode. It may take more than once. If you see the Restore screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Open iTunes on the computer before you connect it.
i did. i looked up the steps but when i went to hold down the bottom button after turning it off then connecting the charger it woudnt pull up itunes it just turned my phone back on
when i turn my phone off and hold the button down then connect the charger i cant get itunes to show up
