Final Cut Pro X - File Share Failed due to invalid grant.

Hello,

My Final Cut Pro X automatically updated. It would not open with Mojave OS. I upgraded to Catalina. I made my first movie and shared to my Youtube Channel. The share failed. That never happened with Mojave or other OS. I got a message "Share Unsuccessful". I tried again at a lower resolution. Same result. File Share Failed due to invalid grant. I tried to access my Youtube account and go to my channel. I had no problem. I was already logged in. Does anyone know the answer to my problem?

Thanks

This issue was clearly not an Apple problem. It was totally on Youtube. I solved the upload issue, by going into my YouTube channel and going into beta studio and saw an new upload file button. A blurb showed up saying, "This is the new way to upload files to Youtube". It uploaded to (Studio.youtube.com). Did it work? Is it published on my channel? Did it take longer than usual? The publishing is a new format and it works. It did publish to my channel. It took much longer than a share from Final Cut Pro X.

Problem solved. Thanks.

"clicked on it, it opened in Final Cut"

Do you have FCP set to open video files? Don't do that. It's not a video player and will not open like that.

If you exported to the desktop, and used the YouTube uploader to upload the video, and it doesn't appear, you'll need to contact YouTube. There can be a lengthy detail for the upload and for the file to be processed by YT before it appears.

Tom Wolsky,

I exported the file to the desktop, and clicked on it, it opened in Final Cut, I shared it to my channel on YouTube. I got this message: Publishing to YouTube Failed: invalid_grant: Bad Request. I think we are on to something, because this was a saved file that was sent and got a different failure message from YouTube. Any ideas?

FYI, I also opened the file in Quicktime Player and uploaded to YouTube, while signed in to my account. I did not get any error messages, but the movie file did not upload to YouTube.

Thanks again for your help. Any other ideas would be helpful.
