Airplay 2 receiver to connect to amp

Hi,

Ive seen this question asked so many times in various forums but all of them are at least half a year old.

Is there still no device that can act as an airplay2 target which can then output audio to connect to an external amplifier? I see people trying to find old airport express for this purpose or appletv hd with hdmi audio extractor but none of them is a good solution.

I have a house with a bunch of in-ceiling speakers (8 pairs) and I would like to have them show up as different speakers on my iphone. I could go with sonos but that would cost me a fortune.
