The dock disappears always. When I use 3 fingers slide up to show the desktops, the dock appears.
The auto hide option is switched off.
I already deleted the plist file for the dock, no solution.
Please help.

If this does not work, then go back to Systems Preferences and reset the settings above as they were before making changes. Then restart and make the same changes listed above but in this order:

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. From my understanding, the doc disappears when opening Mission Control on your Mac.
