Setting a notification in "FindMy".... ALSO notifies that person you created a notification

I've updated to 13, and find my phone and find my friends app has merged... to "find my".

We noticed now, with the new version, that when you're setting up to be notified when someone leaves, or arrives, that it also notifies the person you're setting up the notification. Is there a way to turn this off???

Example...

I want to know John leaves the house.

I set a notification within "FindMy" to be notified when John leaves

As soon as I create that notification...

it also notifies John on his phone that I will be notified when he leaves

Is there a way to stop the notification going to John? It was never like this before in the older versions...

Thank you for any assistance!

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

No, there is no way to turn off this privacy feature.
