Hey. My iPhone 8 dark mode is activated but, the dark mode doesn’t work on my social media such as Pinterest or Instagram. Any clue why?

Because the developer of the app is responsible for enabling their dark mode for their app. Apple can only give Dark Mode to their own apps.
You would need to contact the developer of the app where there is no dark mode yet. It will be added to most apps over time.
I don't know about Pinterest, but Instagram already has a Dark Mode, make sure you have the latest version installed. Dark Mode in Instagram is only activated when you have the Dark Mode enabled in general.
Thanks for the help. But, I do have the latest version. Most of my apps do has dark mode but Instagram and Pinterest doesn’t. When other iPhone users do. I really don’t understand why.
