Good day, I’m unable to download apps on my iPhone 7 Plus. When I click “get”, normally it should ask for my fingerprint and then immediately start downloading. Now it asks for my fingerprint, and then buffer for 1 second or something, then stop.

If there’s anyone who knows how to go about fixing this, please assist.

App Store is not accepting my fingerprint for downloads Can anyone help me understand how come the App Store isn’t accepting my fingerprint and allowing me to download apps anymore? I choose the app, click on ‘Get’, enter my Touch ID, and then it just circles and the ‘Get’ comes back? Apps won't install Its a recurring problem on my iPhone7. I find the app I want, tap the "Get" button, it downloads. Then the phone asks if I want to install it and I press the fingerprint button and nothing happens. What's up with this?

Apps won’t downloaded

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

If necessary

Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup

What have you tried ? Have you tried logging out of the account in the App Store app, closing the app via the phone's taskbar, rebooting the phone, and retrying ?
