I have good news!!!!!!!!! I did the OS 13.2 update and seems to have corrected the problem. I had several conversation using my Tundra Bluetooth and all worked well some conversations over 20 minutes. Only one dropped call that in my area is normal. I did erase the phone from the truck's Bluetooth set up and reset it as a new devise.

Spoke to the dealership service manager again and he suggested not loading the contacts. I tried this and it seems to work. However, to me this is a temporary fix, as part of the beauty of having all the bluetooth is being able to call up contacts handsfree. It is Apples responsibility to send the patch to fix this to the car dealers with the Radios that are not compatible to IOS 13.0 and beyond.

It's happening on 2016-2019 Prius, Tacoma, Highlanders, 4Runner, Sequoia. The 2016-17 Sienna. 2016-18 Avalon the 2018 Yaris the 2016-18 Tundra. Not the Rav which has a different radio. Was told by the dealer who handed me a sheet with these listed.

I had this problem too with my new iPnone 11 Pro staying connected to my Sony XBX 40's. I have a pair of them. I tried all the recommendations like resetting the network in setting back to default and having bluetooth in setting forget about the previously paired devices, then power cycling the iPhone then pairing the device again. All met with little to no improvement.

So I finally did a reset on the Bluetooth speakers and then paired them again to the phone and that did work. So if your problematic Bluetooth peripherals that are having problems staying connecter to your iPhone have a reset option / button, try this.

Í have been having trouble with the BT connection in my car from the day I bought the IPhone 11 I had no trouble before with my previous 7. The phone connects but the sound on phone call is distorted and static so you can’t hear the person your talking to. I upgraded the the iOS to 13.3.1 but that didn’t do anything. I also had my VW dealer update the infotainment system software but no luck with that either. I want apple to address this ASAP or I will return my phone.

I had the same issue when I got the iPhone 11 Pro I had some issues with my Toyota BT. If you did the software update with your dealer, I suggest you uninstall the phone from your car. Delete every thing from the vehicle delete the device in the BT My devises from the phone and start all fresh again. That did it for me.

Good luck

I have been having issues during phone calls with bluetooth dropping and the phone switching from bluetooth to phone audio. I have this issue making phone calls in my car as well. I wear hearing aids that connect to the phone through bluetooth so it is essential that the bluetooth works so that I can hear the person speaking. If it drops I have to switch the call to speaker in order to continue the conversation because it is difficult to hear the phone call with my ear next to the phone due to feedback from the hearing aid. This is a big issue if I am driving as the call will switch off bluetooth in the car and I have to switch the call from the phone to the speaker manually. I spoke to my hearing aid dispenser who explained there are numerous complaitis about this same issue and that they have returned the hearing aids to the manufacturers for repair, but it always comes back that it is not the hearing aid- it is the phone software.

Bluetooth enabled phones are a Godsend to the hearing impaired. We can hear everything so much better if the phones are working with bluetooth and the sound plays directly into our hearing aids with background noice reduced or eliminated. I am concerned I will have an emergency someday and I won't be able to hear the person on the other end of the call. I was told to wait for Apple to provide an update to the iOS software. Bluetooth worked wonderfully up until about the middle of 2019... what happened? Please fix this!

I have the iPhone XR an all apps are upgraded to the latest version. I listen to old radio shows via Bluetooth pillow speakers that are brand new and function perfect on all else. The signal drops non stop. It makes me crazy. They say to reset your phone but I don’t want to do that everyday. That’s not good for the phone. Why won’t they fix this issue?

🤬🤬🤬

I also have the same problem.

My iPhone 11 Pro Max droppes calls of and on. Usually in the beginning of a conversation.

Both when using my AirPods 2 and connected via my Toyota Prius.

I did NOT have the same problem with my iPhone X connected to the same devices.
