Apple Watch Calendar not Syncing to Watch Face

I am having the same exact issue with my watch, I called Apple support last week and opened a ticket. I've tried everything to resolve this on my own, the only calendar that is populating on my watch is my work Exchange account. My account through Google, with multiple calendars, is not populating at all. I'm glad to see that I'm not alone and really hope Apple can resolve this issue through an update, my watch is almost useless without the calendars.

I have a brand new Series 5. I have the calendar on my Infograph Modular watch face and it keeps freezing. It happened yesterday - froze on the last meeting of the day. So I re-synced me calendar today. Everything was fine for a few hours. Then it froze again after my last meeting.

I thought it had something to do with the notifications? I tried to disable all the notifications except for meeting reminders because I was getting notifications for everything (invites, replies, etc). Once I 'customized' the notifications, that is when I started having troubles. Has anyone else noticed this?

I keep having the same issue off and on. I have a series 5 with an iPhone 8. All updates have been installed. I have toggled the calendar on and off, I have removed my email accounts and resynced. I have restarted both my iPhone and the watch. It seems to work for a bit but then starts missing calendar events. The last time I went through this process I had meetings at 8, 9 and 10. The 9 am meeting was displaying on the watch, but no other appts. then I resynced everything, now only the 10 am meeting shows. What is going on?

I have the same issue. Working great up until yesterday. Now, it only shows a couple synced entries.

I've tried restarting my watch and iPhone, re-syncing data, force restarting.

I just erased my watch and set it up as a brand new watch, and it still doesn't sync the calendar events.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro, Series 5, iCloud and Exchange accounts.

That sounds really frustrating. One thing I was going to consider doing next (for my Siri watch face missing upcoming events issue) was to just use my Google Calendars instead of iCloud Calendars to see if that works. Have you tried this approach?

Hmm, what are the 3rd party calendar apps you said you have tried? I only use Apple Calendar (with iCloud and Gmail/G Suite calendars) on my Macs and iPhone/Watch so maybe if I go into this with a fresh set of eyes and try them myself I might be able to duplicate your issue and/or find a solution.

I really can’t. I have 8 different iCloud calendars I use. One each for myself, my wife, my two kids, my parents, our school schedules, travel events, etc. Some with years of past and future events, and some shared out to other iCloud accounts too. It’d be a major pain to try to move stuff over.

My watch stopped showing events a couple weeks ago. I have read all the fixes and done EVERYTHING suggested, multiple times. Still does not show events from my calendar. Does anyone have any new advice to give on this ridiculous problem? Thank you

That is my experience, too @Apulah -- once I turn off iCloud and then back on, calendar event son my watch start to appear and then within the hour totally disappear again. I simply want to mirror the events that I see on my iPhone!

Same here. It showed up for part of a day then went back to No More Events. I was going to buy a new Apple Watch but will not until this is fixed. It's ridiculous. Did absolutely everything suggested and nothing works to restore the events.

I have the same problems- reset sync data, unpair, new watch (Gen 5), iPhone 6s Plus.....multiple check-ins with support, etc. The calendar will sync for a day or two, and then stop syncing. One assistant suggested unchecking some of my many calendars, which worked for a week, but now O have the same problem, “no more events today” when I have events. I am looking forward to the next iOS update.

This is so disappointing from Apple. They are not serious About this problem. This is a fundamental feature that should be on their top priority list. The first similar complain I read was from 2015, and 5 years later they keep carrying over the same failures. Try to talk to A manager on the customer support side, He or she might be able to raise the case with higher level of priority. Good luck.

Unfortunately, I’ve tried that Reset Sync Data option already SO MANY times. This issue is much bigger than using that setting to correct it. That setting seems to work for small sync issues, but this one is much deeper. I think it’s inherently ties to iCloud and how the watch sees data from iCloud vs locally on the device.

This is still an issue and I won’t even consider buying a new watch until this is fixed. It’s such a basic issue, it’s completely unacceptable that a device of this cost can’t even sync calendar events reliably. I should not have to reset anything turn anything off or on, and certainly not multiple times in a week just to keep such a fundamental feature of the watch working.
