Apple Watch Calendar not Syncing to Watch Face

Hi,

I have an apple watch and i'm using the modular face, and I keep my calendar in the middle of the modual. Normally I can see my calendar events displayed because I use Google Calendar, but I have my Apple Calendar synced to it. You will see I have it setup in the Watch app to display my Calendar, you'll see in my screenshot that my Calendar app has lots of events listed in it correctly, and then you'll see in my screenshot that my watch face shows I have zero calendar events today. I have checked and my watch has the latest software, and so does my phone, so I'm confused what is causing this!

Resolved.

Had all same problems discussed in this thread and tried all the same steps, but only resolved it after going full Rambo on the problem by unpairing and re-pairing. 100% fixed and fairly painless. In 30 minutes I was able to restore from a backup and then only needed to re-add cards to ApplePay:

In Watch app tap into your watch eg Robert’s Apple Watch pic1

Tap the info button for the Watch pic2

Unpair Apple Watch

(from here I go from memory cause I’m not going thru it again)

it takes time to unpair and then the Watch app prompts you to pair a watch using iPhone camera or manually, then restore from backup. For me it was seamless.

the ironie is that back in June I spent 3 hours on the phone with Apple support. They did something on my iCloud account that made it to work few days later. The past week, back to square one. My calendar on my iWatch was not syncing anymore. Well, not even not syncing anymore, but all events disappeared. So since I knew that trick that You described above, I tried again and again ... not working ... Apple is really frustrating me ... next time I’ll buy an android watch ...

So sorry it didn't work. I have an Apple watch 4. Maybe it is different for the 5. I, too, bought the watch to keep track of my calendar, so I know how frustrating it is. If you find out anything more, please post it.

Why Google Calendar syncs better than iCal is a mystery to me. When I make a calendar event change on Google Calendar, it is reflected on my watch, but the old calendar event still comes up as a reminder from iCal. Genius bar couldn't help. I never have used Outlook. What gives, Apple?

I'm not sure why Apple doesn't/won't fix this issue. It's so basic, and very frustrating. I can get it work (following the instructions above), but my appointments slowly disappear, and never refresh. I'm using an O365 account. The ONLY thing that appears on my watch are my all day events from a subscribed account. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!

Definitely not it. I've checked that multiple times. Now it's taken to appearing in the a.m. and disappearing in the p.m. Something is very wrong with the sync process. Makes the watch almost unusable, at least for me.

I'm having the same issue. Apple really needs to get this fixed. Calendar is the #1 reason I use the watch.

For me Gmail family calendar syncs, but not the regular events in my personal calendar.

Things went sideways for me a few days ago when my watch face turned into the Minnie Mouse one which is extremely annoying. No amount of trying to get rid of Minnie would work. Then I also noticed that I was not seeing any calendar items on my watch but missed one meeting before that realization. Then, out of the blue, Minnie disappeared and my previous watch face returned, but alas, calendar events now show up seemingly sporadically. I am blaming that darned mouse. I don't know if I have the emotional stamina this week while glued to election results to ask Apple to walk me through a fix that might not work.

The saga continues...now it seems to sync in the morning, and then everything disappears in the afternoon, just to have it start all over again. This doesn't feel like a huge issue to fix, but is a giant pain in the butt.

I tried, and I pushed "set as current watch face" with a different modual in the middle, but nothing happens. It's like my app isn't talking to my watch.

I am having a similar issue. Some of my events on my phone show up on my watch, but many days show no events when there are many. have you gotten a fix for this yet?

I am also having this problem. Tried the Settings, iCloud, toggle Calendar off/on and it has not corrected the problem. Guess I will have to do the unpair/pair option. Darn.
