Mouse support for iPados

I have recently connected my Apple Magic mouse to my iPad Pro 12". I can connect the mouse and it appears to work fine, however it renders my Apple keyboard folio useless. Most of the keys on the right side of don't work and I'm constantly getting the virtual keyboard popping up. I have gone to accessibility and turned off the "show onscreen keyboard" but it still pops up. I've contacted Apple Support but they know less than I do at this point. Its a little frustrating knowing how big of an update this was suppose to be and not have any information or trouble shooting established... If anyone has any suggestions or fixes I'm all ears.
