Hi there, how do I make the red numbers go away after receiving a missed call or a voice mail. This issue is only persisting on my new iPhone 11 pro. I had no issues with my previous iPhones and the red numbers simply disappeared after I looked at the missed call or listened to the voice mail. Any ideas how to fix this?

I apologize for the inaccuracy, but the last step was not ‘to close’ it was ‘to go out’.
Sum up:
Tap phone icon > tap Recents > tap All/Missed at the top, then exit (when you exit that screen the badge disappears).
On iOS 13.1.3 it works fine for me.
