Apple as of late added a feature to Safari that helps anticipate advertisement, tracking, and other "outsider" cookies. This feature, called Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) uses AI and profiling to sort sites and cookies based on the propensity for both how the user and the website interface with one another.

This feature, lamentably, can cause interruptions when a site uses an authentication service such as Google, which can prompt a mistake known as "Too many redirects". This blunder occurs as Safari's new ITP is hindering the authentication check among Google and services such as Securely. We had the option to repeat this issue on sites such as Google Drive and different sites using Google Single Sign-On authentication.

The following is the Offical response from Google about "ITP"

How to resolve this problem?

Right now, because of limitations caused by this new feature the only method to assure that you won't be influenced by the "Too Many Redirects" blunder is to mood killer a feature inside Safari known as Prevent cross-site tracking.

It has also become obvious that Apple's latest engineer release of Safari has disabled this feature upon install. Or then again you can use different browsers such as Chrome and Firefox which have not yet announced this issue.

Mac OS:

  • Open Safari
  • Click on Safari at the top left of your screen
  • Click on Preferences
  • Click on the “Privacy” tab
  • Unchecked Prevent cross-site tracking

iOS:

  • Open the Settings app
  • Scroll down to Safari and tap on it
  • Scroll down to “Prevent Cross-Site Tracking”
  • Toggle it off so that it is white

Clearing the Safari cache will provide a temporary fix. After 24 hours may be the problem will most likely appear again
