Apple Watch battery

When I take my watch off at night the battery is at 79% but when I get up in the morning it’s flat. Does any win know why? I can wear it all day and only uses 21%

you should place it in the charger when you go to bed

it's likely using a lot of battery trying to detect a wrist which is not there all night
